Does Fixiam replace our proctoring or assessment platform?
No. Fixiam is the identity gate in front of your existing stack, not a replacement for it. The exam platform consumes an authenticated session through standard SAML; content, scoring, scheduling and proctoring stay untouched.
How is candidate consent and data protection handled?
Consent is captured at enrolment for exam-day authentication and as an enduring, revocable consent for future verification. Later verification is always performed by the holder themselves, a contactless capture on their own device, never a silent lookup. Biometric processing and national identity access are scoped country by country with the appropriate legal basis, privacy impact assessment, data minimisation and retention controls. Seamfix holds ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 27701 certifications.
Which countries support verification against national identity sources?
Coverage varies by country, by law and by infrastructure. We connect to authoritative in-country sources where technically and legally available, starting with the markets we know most deeply, and we never claim universal coverage. Where a source connection is unavailable, biometric binding and live authentication still deliver the continuity control.
How heavy is the integration?
Deliberately light. Fixiam is a federated identity provider, not a rebuild. A standards-based SAML integration is the entry point, so the exam application changes nothing about how it delivers, scores, or proctors the assessment.
Does it work for remote exams as well as test centres?
Yes. The same identity gate fronts remote, centre-based and hybrid delivery, and it is engineered for low-bandwidth environments on managed devices.
What does it cost?
Pilots run on a fixed fee plus a per-verified-sitting price, with part of the pilot fee credited into the first year of a rollout. Exact numbers depend on your failure mode and volumes, which is exactly what the working session is for. Book a session to get pilot economics specific to your case.
What if we're not sure which fraud pattern is our biggest risk?
